CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS:

Good student conduct provides for a safe and orderly environment where students can grow to their full academic and social potentials. 

  1. The students of St. Anne’s Public School (CBSE) are expected to behave in a gentlemanly/lady-like manner on all occasions.
  2. All students should address the members of the staff with due respect and politeness.
  3. They must show gentleness and courtesy to visitors and their companions
  4. Refinement of manners, uprightness and self-restraint should be the hallmark of every pupil of the school
  5. All students are expected to attend school in clean and neat uniform every day.
  6. All students must attend the morning assembly. At the stroke of the first bell, students are expected to assemble class-wise with their school diaries in absolute silence.
  7. Students are expected to co-operate in keeping the school premises clean. They should refrain from scribbling on the walls, littering, damaging furniture and other school equipment.

  8. Any kind of damage done to the school property must be compensated for at the cost of the o ender.

  9. Running, playing or shouting inside the classrooms and the verandas is not allowed
  10. Every student is expected to take part in all school activities. This to take part in regulation applies even when such activities take place out of the regular school hours. Should seminars or training sessions be organized, all concerned students are expected to attend.
  11. Students are reminded to converse in the appropriate campus language in the School and at such times when they are in their School attire.

  12. No foul language, obscene gestures, racial, ethnic, religious slurs and disrespectful language or actions will be tolerated.

  13. Students must wear their identity cards at all times during school hours.

  14. Students are not allowed to leave the school premises without written permission from the Principal. Students are advised not to loiter in the school campus after school hours but to be prompt in returning home.

  15. No mobile phones, Gold, Anklets, Watch etc. Shall not be brought to student is found in possession of a above mentioned items and lost. The school will not be held responsible for the safe custody of any such item.

  16. Personal properties such as books, bags, stationery etc., should bear the name of the owner.

RULES OF REGULARITY

  1. All students are expected to attend school regularly. 90% attendance is compulsory for promotion.

  2. Pupils who have been absent from class for some unforeseen reason, must have the reason entered in the Regularity/Leave Record, stating briefly the cause of absence.

  3. In case of a long-term illness (more than three days), the principal must be notified in writing by the third day and the anticipated time of absence mentioned. The application for leave made to the Principal must be accompanied by a registered Doctor’s Certificate.

  4. For any other valid reason (i.e. family functions, rituals, etc.), a prior application of leave must be made through a leave letter addressed to the Principal and handed over to the class teachers.
